Operating Instructions

1. Before calling your TouchTone Banker, be sure to have your account number(s) ready. The number appears at the top middle of your bank statement and at the bottom of your check. Also have your personal identification number (PIN) available.

2. Call 384-5017 in Syracuse or 492-1759 in Johnson from any touchtone phone.

3. Follow the instructions. You will be offered a series of menu selections from which to choose. You may access the following selections from the Opening Menu given by pressing the corresponding number(s) on your phone.

OPENING MENU:

  • Press 1 to access account information
  • Press 2 for rate and product information
  • Press 3 for instructions on how to use the system
  • Press 4 if you are a merchant calling for check verification

NOTE: If you are not using a touchtone phone, please hold. If you wish to end this call, please hang up at any time.

MAIN MENU:

Access the following selections by pressing the corresponding number(s) on your telephone when prompted by your Touchtone Banker:

  • Press 1 for checking account information
  • Press 2 for savings account information
  • Press 3 for information on loan accounts
  • Press 4 for information on time deposit accounts
  • Press 5 to transfer funds
  • Press 8 to return to the previous menu
  • Press 9 to repeat this menu
  • Press 0 to access to a Customer Service Representative (during regular business hours)

CHECKING ACCOUNT MENU:

  • Press 1 for balance inquiry
  • Press 2 for previous account transactions
  • Press 3 for deposit information
  • Press 4 for specific check information
  • Press 5 to transfer funds
  • Press 6 for interest information
  • Press 7 to change your PIN number
  • Press 8 to return to the Main Menu
  • Press 9 to repeat this menu
  • Press 0 to access a Customer Service Representative (during regular business hours)

Select (2) from the Opening Menu to access the Rate and Product Menu. To access these selections, press the corresponding number(s) on your telephone when prompted by YOUR TOUCH-TONE BANKER.

RATE AND PRODUCT MENU:

  • Press 1 for information on Certificates of Deposit
  • Press 2 for information on Money Market Accounts
  • Press 3 for information on Individual Retirement Accounts
  • Press 4 for information on Checking and Savings accounts
  • Press 8 to return to the Main Menu
  • Press 9 to repeat this menu
  • Press 0 to access a Customer Service Representative (during regular business hours)

NOTE:

The first time you call TouchTone Banker, your PIN will be the last four digits of the social security number of the first name on the account. You will then be instructed to change your PIN to a new 4-digit number that only you know.
